i will head for sweden in two days to stay in stockholm for at least three months. so, unfortunately i will leave munich and try to get my things together away from home. this city had me quite a long time and still it is one of my favourite cities.
if bad things have happened in the past and everything reminds you to it, it makes you suffer a lot. it's probably the best to let it go for a while and start over again at a different place ... like to start over again with a blog.

hey dudes, again I have to admit that I haven't taken care of my blog. wha'eva'..... I came back from Vietnam in the beginning of april and the time was awesome. Of course, not everything was cool, because we have often seen the gaps between rich and poor, nice and ugly, modern and just discusting .... well, I don't mean that discusting would be the opposite of modern. It's just the standard of protection of environment and culture. So, we all have learnt a lot and if I find some time I will upload some files. I promise ... hahaha!
Meanwhile, I'm working already at the Gato AG in Munich. It's pretty nice and there a lot of interesting projects going on.
It's summer in Munich and I drive around with my Vespa all the time, go hiking or making barbeque (like I will do it tonight!).

Oh lord, it has been while since I've updated my blog the last time, but most of you haven't even known that it exists. Therefore nothing to worry about.
Since November has happened a lot and in the next weeks will happen much more. Just to tell the important facts:
- I handed in my final thesis 2 weeks ago and it feels pretty to got rid of this dark cloud above my head
- Tomorrow I'm going to have my last day at my old job and I will start in the mid of April a full-time internship for six months at a consulting agency in Munich called Gato AG (www.gato-ag.com, check it out!).
- Next monday I will go to Vietnam for 2 weeks. It will be an excursion of my university to establish a cooperation with the university of HaNoi. Therefore the costs won't explode, because the school will carry the most of it. Lucky me! As soon as I'm back I will post some pics or write something during my journey.

Have you ever splept in a room like the one you can see in the picture on the right side. This was my shelter for 3 nights in the nice beautiful city of Lund. The youth hostel was an old train from the 40s/50s and they kept the spirit alive. The city was nice, but not the accommodation for 20 Euros per night.
This was the only thing to complain about ... the rest of my time in Sweden were pretty satisfying. The people at the IIIEE (Institute for International Integrative Environmental Economics, wasn´t it??) were really a big help for my case study. Free access to the library, all sources available, interview contacts.... only to name a few of things, which they helped me out with. Because of the great support, I´ve finished my researches and got all my stuff together, earlier than I´ve expected, and I´ve already gone home last saturday.
Like the journey towards Sweden, the way back has also taken more than 24 hours and was jeopardized by a storm over the Baltic Sea. It was not sure, if the ferry would leave the harbour. But in the end, the only problem were 5 buses with Russian families conquering the boat and sleeping in all available places. Surrounded by a bunch of trucker and the eastern-european crowd I fell asleep and hugged very close my bagpack. Wonderful to be back in a big bed, where is also space for the two of us.

What a journey... damn! 27 hours after I´ve started yesterday at lunch time, I have arrived in Lund, where I´m going to be for the next days. The way to Rostock was not that bad. Thanks to Robert for picking me up and the Deutsche Bahn for not charging me :) I got up 6 six o´clock in the morning to take the ferry to Trelleborg. I finally arrived with the bus in Lund this afternoon. I´m ready for a hot shower!

Go for Sweden! Second time this year I will take off for Sweden. Not for holiday as I did last time in August with Janina... unfortunately, I will go there alone working on my case study for my final thesis. It´s about the most southern region of Sweden, called Söderslätt, and I´m going to meet up with several people, who are in charge of the tourism development. Let´s see, how it works out?! I have already organized a pretty cool ride with a truck driver, who was going frequently to Scandinavia, but not anymore.... 2 days ago, he told me, that he lost his driver´s license... bummer ... but actually not ... thinking about what kind of weird trucker this guy would have been. Doing some phone calls I have organized my journey again... till now. I´ll start on monday. Next stations: Schwerin-Rostock-Trelleborg-Lund. Wish me luck!

So, finally .... after thinking for while and checking the web ... I got a blog on occasion suddenly! Well, that´s how it goes. I´m anxious to see if I will add something to this blog frequently.
